Recently, an Austin family came to me because it had been far too long since they had taken professional family portraits. In fact, their youngest 12 year old daughter wasn’t even represented in the photographs displayed throughout their home. They knew it was time to change that and I was happy to help make the entire experience meaningful and easy.
From helping them choose the perfect wardrobe and selecting a beautiful location that was special to their family, to coordinating professional hair and makeup for mom, I took care of all the little details that can make a family portrait session feel effortless and special. After their session, we went one step further and designed framed artwork for their home, so their pictures wouldn’t simply live on a computer, they would become part of their everyday.
The sweetest moment came when my installer was finishing the big family portrait over the dining room table and their youngest daughter saw her portraits for the first time. The look on her face was a reminder of why I love being a family portrait photographer.
