A little studio magic for your family this fall & winter

There is something so special about photographing your family in each season of life. The expressions you never want to forget. All those ordinary, beautiful things that somehow become the memories you treasure most. I have had SO much fun this summer creating gorgeous portraits with your families, and I have loved all of the magic we have captured together.

October and November are filled with beautiful outdoor sessions around San Antonio, Austin, and New Braunfels; gorgeous light, meaningful locations, and all of that beautiful Texas scenery.

But then December and January arrive and well, the scenery gets a little dreary, SO I am thrilled to bring more families back into the studio in downtown New Braunfels. My business continues to grow and for a few months out of the year it just makes sense to open more spots in the studio. Plus, it’s adorable. Natural light + studio lighting, 100+ years old carriage house and the portraits are fun, artsy, formal, casual and timeless. Lots of beauty and fun. Did I mention no rain and perfect temperature.

There are so many different looks we can create, depending on your family and what feels like you. Think casual, light, clean and fun.

Or something moodier, artsy or more timeless against a dark backdrop.

Or we can dress things up and create something a little more fancy and formal.

And many families choose to do TWO looks, which gives you so much beautiful variety in your final images.

Whatever we create, my goal is always the same; portraits that feel timeless, beautiful and completely worthy of being printed and enjoyed for years to come. We are still creating those gorgeous custom albums, along with framed favorites that are professionally installed in your home, because I never want your sweet photographs to live only on a computer or phone.

I would absolutely love to have your family in the studio this winter and freeze this particular season of your family in a way you can hold onto forever. And the best part? You don’t have to figure it all out. I help with everything; what to wear, what to bring, how to prepare the kids for a fun shoot, the location and all the little details in between.

I help you and you just show up. Because I promise, someday the house will be quiet again. The toys will be put away. The little voices will be bigger and different. And you will be SO glad you have these beautiful reminders of who they were right now.
